In 2nd of December 2016, a group of student in Taylor's University organized the very first Engineering My Future (EMF) one-day camp. EMF 3.0 is an engineering camp organized for less privileged students to gain exposure on the field of engineering. The less privileged students from an orphanage will be brought to Taylor’s University for a one-day camp. There will be a list of activities including talks and games geared towards the 14 Grand Challenges which are engineering related.
Besides giving an opportunity for the less privileged students to experience being in a university for a day, the aim of EMF is to raise awareness of NAE’s 14 Grand Challenges of Engineering among the students and hope that it will pique interest among the students and unlock their potential to contribute in solving one of the Grand Challenges.
These challenges are:
These challenges will act as the basis of the event. The activities are designed so the participant can experience things we learn in engineering school and what have they taught us. At the same time we want the participant to enjoy the event without having the pressure of studying.
The total amount pledged will be allocated as seen in the table below.

The members for this event are only four of us, and it is a challenge to handle this event by ourselves. Currently we are looking for volunteers around the campus to help with our project.
